Victoria Gregg
My Practice
I offer a caring and collaborative service to individual teenagers and adults facing all
sorts of life stresses and mental and emotional difficulties. This includes help for
stress, anxiety and depression, grief and trauma, relationship issues, parenting
struggles, substance abuse, OCD and phobias, and support with physical and
mental health issues.
In addition to face to face and online counselling for individuals, I am also able to
provide mental health and wellbeing education, group support, continuing
professional development and debriefing.
With an educational background in clinical psychology and counselling
experience in a variety of different roles, I tailor my therapy to meet the
specific needs of my clients. Whatever you are struggling with I will help you
recognise underlying problems, process life difficulties, realise your strengths,
challenge unhelpful thoughts and perhaps adjust certain behaviours to
experience life in a more positive way.
No two people are the same, so my practice is integrative, drawing on
counselling theories such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Solution-focussed
therapy, narrative and Gestalt therapy. I am person-centered in my approach and
focus primarily on finding solutions to the presenting issue whilst also recognizing
the influence of past events. I enjoy using creative approaches in counselling and
aim to look at the whole person as we address troubling issues.
My counselling room is a safe and confidential space to share and discuss
things that you may find difficult to process with others.
